Los Angeles Lakers rookie point guard Lonzo Ball has been ruled out of the preseason finale against the LA Clippers, bringing his exhibition run to an end after just two games. The “minor” ankle injury that he suffered on Oct. 2 has wiped Ball out from participating in four games, which seems to be a bit more than “minor” if it has taken this long (and beyond) to get him back on the court.
Head coach Luke Walton was clear about what he wanted to see from Ball before clearing him to play.
