From getting exactly 33 blocks last season, to wearing number 33 during his Los Angeles D-Fenders stints, and of course his use of the skyhook, Ivica Zubac certainly hasn't been shy about his desire to pay homage to Los Angeles Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
The young big man may not have to do so from afar anymore, because not only is Abdul-Jabbar reportedly considering rejoining the Lakers in an unspecified role, he also “expressed interest” to Mark Medina of the Orange County Register in “mentoring” Zubac. And yes, he’s seen Zubac using his trademark skyhook.
