At only 24 years old, Jake LaRavia already had two NBA franchises decide he was not worth their time. The Memphis Grizzlies and Sacramento Kings both had the impressive young wing in-house and decided to let him walk. Their loss in the Los Angeles Lakers' massive gain.
LaRavia has been tremendous in purple and gold. The Lakers needed an impact player after they lost Dorian Finney-Smith in free agency. LaRavia was the first name they called and the deliverables from the former Grizzly and Kings have spoken for themselves.
Amid a fluctuating role due to injuries, LaRavia has been able to maximize his playing time in the rotation.
