ORLANDO – Lakers forward Julius Randle and his fiancée, Kendra Shaw, welcomed the birth of their first child, a baby boy named Kyden, on Friday morning in Los Angeles.
Kyden Randle weighed in at eight pounds, nine ounces and measured 21 inches tall. The Lakers reported that Kendra Shaw and Kyden Randle are doing fine.
Randle missed Thursday’s loss in Miami so he could return to Los Angeles to be with his fiancée. Randle also will not play when the Lakers (11-21) visit the Orlando Magic (13-18) on Friday at Amway Center. But the Lakers expect that Randle will be available for their Christmas game Sunday against the Clippers at Staples Center.
