First Road Test
This is the first big test of the float building process. The float is mechanically built, the engine and substructure is in place, the wire framing has been welded and it is time for the first road test. Rose Parade inspectors will go over every detail of the structure, hydraulics, engine, brakes, exhaust and wiring to make sure everything is safe. It is also a good chance to see the float go down the road for the first time ever!
