Lakers get back to losing with 100-87 setback in Atlanta

Another night, another loss for the Lakers.

Their impressive, balanced win against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday was apparently only a brief diversion for Kobe Bryant and the Lakers, who found familiar footing with Friday’s 100-87 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on the road.

Bryant finished just 4-of-19 from the field for 14 points, while the rest of the Lakers (3-16) followed his lead and shot 37.9 percent from the field. They clawed back from a 19-point deficit with some timely 3-point shooting – they shot 48.1 percent from behind the arc. However, after Atlanta native Lou Williams buried a 3 to cut the Hawks lead to 85-81, the Lakers went ice cold.
