The Los Angeles Lakers have yet to make any free agency signings but could be closing in on their first deal soon. The Lakers are set to meet with unrestricted free agent point guard George Hill, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Even more interesting, Hill and the Lakers are reportedly looking at the potential of a one-year contract, according to Wojnarowski. That’s an ideal situation for LA as the front office tries to keep the slate clean for the summer of 2018.
Hill is one of the most sought-after free agents of this class, having a career year and due for a big pay raise.
