Numerous reports have surfaced over the last several days citing the Los Angeles Lakers as having interest in Dallas Mavericks unrestricted free agent Chandler Parsons. It appears the feeling may be mutual, as Howard Beck of Bleacher Report reports that the Lakers are among four teams Parsons is "eyeing." Beck notes that Parsons is also focused on getting a max contract, and that he's ruled out a return to the Mavericks.
There is a lot to, ahem, parse here. Parsons has a history of knee injuries but otherwise is well worth the max as the cap balloons.
