When it comes to the NBA Draft there are normally two trains of thought: the first involves selecting the best player available and the other does just the opposite, choosing the player who will best fit the team’s established system.
On occasion the players available will fit into both categories, for example, last season with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Karl Anthony-Towns, but many times that’s not the case, as is true with the upcoming draft.
Though Ben Simmons is widely regarded as the prospect with the highest upside in the upcoming 2016 NBA Draft, Duke prospect, Brandon Ingram seems to represent the better fit for both the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Lakers.
