Sick of losing 12 of their last 13 overall and 11 straight games to their Staples Center co-tenants, the Lakers used a huge third-quarter burst to propel their 111-102 victory on Christmas night.
“I think we played that way because of having an edge from all the losing we’ve been doing,” head coach Luke Walton said.
A rematch of last year’s Christmas meeting between seemed to be tilting in the Clippers’ favor once again, as they captured an 11-point lead late in the first quarter behind a dozen points from J.
