Lakers already have a star buyout target before the season even begins

In an effort to address their clearly lacking center rotation, the Los Angeles Lakers added Deandre Ayton via a two-year, $16.6 million deal earlier this month.

With his top-pick pedigree coupled with the fact that he's the first player since Dwight Howard to average at least 10.0 points and 10.0 rebounds in each of his first seven seasons in the association, many are hoping that LA has finally found its center of the future.

Of course, considering his somewhat limited on-court repertoire and the fact that he's already fizzled out with two different organizations throughout his professional career, Ayton is far from a sure-fire solution to the five spot.
