It also involved backup point guard Marcelo Huertas posting career-highs in points (10) and assists (nine). Yet, the 32-year-old Brazilian native called those numbers “irrelevant.”
“The most important thing is the way you affect the game when you’re out there and how the team works,” Huertas said. “I could’ve had zero points and zero assists and still be important for the team to win a game.
