Lakers basketball star Kobe Bryant's house in the Pelican Ridge community is in escrow.
The asking price on the house is $6.45 million, several price chops below the $8.59 million price tag in August 2013.
Built in 1997, the four-bedroom house on a cul de sac in the guard-gated neighborhood has 8,471 square feet of living space and includes a shark tank in a large office/library, according to the listing. The house also boasts a hair salon, home theater with a lobby, and an 850-square-foot gym.
The home, behind its own set of private gates, has an "extra-deep" swimming pool, spa, lush gardens, a fire pit and an outdoor kitchen, according to Jordan Cohen of Re/Max Olson & Associates, the listing agent.
