EL SEGUNDO – With 14 games remaining in Kobe Bryant’s career, the superstar is expected to return to the lineup Friday when the Lakers host the Phoenix Suns at Staples Center.
“I talked to him a little bit this morning,” coach Byron Scott said, “(Bryant) said he feels a whole lot better. … He said, ‘I think I can play tonight.’”
The Lakers officially listed Bryant as probable to play against the Suns (18-50), while Scott put his chances at 75 percent.
Bryant has had five days off since his last appearance in a game, Sunday against the New York Knicks.
