The injury report just keeps getting longer for the Lakers, as on Monday night the team announced that Kendrick Nunn (right ankle sprain) would join Trevor Ariza (right ankle surgery), Talen Horton-Tucker (reportedly getting thumb surgery) and Malik Monk (right groin strain) in missing the team’s game against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday.
This is the first time Nunn has been listed on the injury report this preseason, and it is unknown when he sustained the injury, or how severe of a sprain it is. With him added to the list of guys that are sidelined, expect Wayne Ellington, Kent Bazemore and Austin Reaves to get plenty of chances to compete for minutes at shooting guard over the remainder of training camp, with a good chance that a few of the camp invites get in the rotation for the final two preseason games as well.
