Los Angeles Lakers owner Jeanie Buss reveals Kobe Bryant supported them signing Dwight Howard for the 2019-20 NBA season on ‘Daddy Issues’ podcast.
According to Melissa Rohlin of Sports Illustrated, Bryant was able to put their differences aside and felt Howard could help the Lakers win a championship.
“Kobe wanted us to win,” Buss said while revealing she consulted him on the move.
“He wanted to see the Lakers win. Kobe came to a couple of games and he was happy to see Dwight and greeted him. You don’t ever give up on anybody.
