Final: Lakers no match for Warriors as win streak ends at three in 109-88 loss

LOS ANGELES – At various times this season, Golden State has played without Stephen Curry, Harrison Barnes and Festus Ezeli because of injuries. And the Warriors have continued to dominate the NBA.

On Tuesday, the Warriors were missing Leandro Barbosa, two other reserves and Curry for the fourth quarter, and again didn’t miss a step, stomping all over the Lakers, 109-88.

The loss ended the Lakers’ modest three-game winning streak and any euphoria that reigned inside Staples Center. An opponent making 13 of 30 3-pointers will ruin anyone’s day.

“It seems with them it doesn’t matter who plays,” Lakers coach Byron Scott said, “they come out with the same mentality.
