On Tuesday morning, Lakers Twitter was abuzz with anticipation. No, it wasn’t the team’s first preseason game of the year that inspired the storm, but rather the announcement of former head coach Byron Scott’s upcoming book.
Titled “SLAM DUNK SUCCESS: Leading from Every Position on Life’s Court,” Scott’s tome promises to reveal “that there is only one set of rules to success in life, be it in the board room or on the court, and provides readers with leadership tactics and techniques for handling tough decisions, confidence building and motivation.”
As anyone who has watched the Lakers over the last few years can attest, if there is anything Scott excels at, it’s all of the stuff listed above.
