Before we get to my special guests for today’s newsletter, let me say this: The three-game sweep of Washington serves as a reminder that this team does play with a lot more spirit than the last couple of seasons, and they have proven multiple times that they can rally and pull victory from defeat. In that way, they do remind me of the 1988 Dodgers.
