It didn’t take long for Jarred Vanderbilt to make his impact and value felt as soon as he arrived on the Lakers last season. As part of the return from the Russell Westbrook trade, Vanderbilt automatically became the team’s second-best defender and was instantly inserted into the starting lineup for the purple and gold.
