The Los Angeles Lakers are without Luka Doncic and LeBron James for at least the next week, but Austin Reaves instantly proved he can be a superstar when he’s the number one option. The 6’5 guard was averaging 25.5 points and 10.0 assists in the first two games as Luka’s sidekick, but he took it to another level when the Lakers needed it most.

Reaves went off for 51 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists, and two steals in 39 minutes of action in a win over the Kings in Sacramento. He set a new career-high in scoring as the guard made 12 of his 22 field goal attempts and went 21 of 22 from the free throw line.
