The Los Angeles Lakers 2019-20 roster is set going into training camp, but things could change before the start of the 2019-20 NBA season with potential player cuts & free agent signings. DeMarcus Cousins recently tore his ACL & will be out for the season, so the Lakers could potentially buyout or cut Boogie Cousins & bring in another veteran player who can contribute to the Lakers this upcoming season. Carmelo Anthony, Andre Iguodala & Kenneth Faried have all been linked to LA through numerous Lakers rumors this NBA offseason & they could still be the Lakers radar if they are wanting to add depth to improve their roster.
The Golden State Warriors traded Andre Iguodala to the Memphis Grizzlies, but Iggy reportedly wants to play for another team & the Grizzlies would be interested in trading the former NBA finals MVP for assets. However, Memphis has not received any trade offers to their liking & it is becoming more likely that Iguodala could get bought out or end up playing for the Grizzlies. The only problem for the Lakers is that they don’t have many assets left, so the Grizzlies would likely have to do a buyout in order for LA to sign him. Another option is Kenneth Faried. He was a potential replacement for Boogie Cousins before the Lakers signed Dwight Howard. However, he could still be a reserve option for the Lakers if they end up cutting Cousins.

Carmelo Anthony still remains an NBA free agent & there has been NBA rumors floating around the possibility that he could sign with the Lakers.
