A brand new video has come out in preparation for LA Lakers star Kobe Bryant’s upcoming 2013 China Tour.
Bryant is seen in the video coaching a large group of Chinese players. The video shows how disciplined the Lakers player is, as he wakes up the Chinese players for a training session very early in the morning.
While narrating the video, Bryant points out that being up before 4:00 a.m. every day is a great way to toughen up a player’s mental stamina – convincing yourself to get up and respond to your alarm clock that early is a fantastic motivator. Bryant goes on to note the importance of precision in basketball drills. According to Kobe, if you want to have sharp moves in a game, it’s necessary to be just as sharp in practice.
The video wraps up with some Zen-like advice from the 34-year-old Bryant, who shows no signs of slowing down despite the Achilles injury that prematurely ended his season last year.Back to the Los Angeles Lakers Newsfeed
