In LA Lakers news tonight, it looks like one of the LA Lakers young core of guards is aware of the impact that 4-time NBA All-Star Pau Gasol can have when utilized to his full potential.
Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters tweeted out LA Lakers' point guard Jordan Farmar's thought on what the Lakers need to do when it comes to Pau Gasol's role on the court--
Farmar on Pau: “He’s our best player by far, we have to use him to his strength. We can’t expect him to just play thru the motions"

With the well-known dissonance between LA Lakers head coach Mike D'Antoni and Pau Gasol from an offensive playbook standpoint, it is interesting to see one of the players from the LA Lakers' purported youth movement step up in favor of, from what it looks like, running the offense through the Lakers' big man.
However, it can be argued that Pau Gasol is having as good of a year as any during his 13-year career, as the LA Lakers' center is averaging a double-double for just the fourth time in his career--posting 17.0 points and 10.1 rebounds in 31.5 minutes per game this season.
