Byron Scott Says He'll Rest Kobe Bryant In Practice, Not In Games

Many people assumed that Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant would see a minutes restriction the season with the 36-year-old coming off a season marred by injury, and while head coach Byron Scott agrees that Kobe needs to be rested, he won't use games to do it.

It's clear that Los Angeles needs their best player on the floor at all times, as their 3-11 record is second worst in the league.

Bryant is averaging 26.7 ppg, 4.2 apg, and 5.1 rpg for the Lakers so far this season in nearly 36 minutes a game.
