As 24 NHL teams prepare to return to action later this summer under the NHL's Return-To-Play post-season plan, the seven clubs that didn't qualify face a longer-than-usual off-season.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it could be months before the Anaheim Ducks, Buffalo Sabres, Detroit Red Wings, Los Angeles Kings, New Jersey Devils, Ottawa Senators, and San Jose Sharks see meaningful NHL action again.
