Alas, Milan Lucic lived up to his billing! The power forward failed to live up to expectations while being deployed as a scoring forward with the Edmonton Oilers over the previous three seasons. But the Calgary Flames have embraced his physical style, and given their plethora of scoring forwards, they have tempered expectations with regards to his offensive production.
While it’s still too early to tell whether this will lead to team success, Lucic seems to be skating with a little more pep in his step.
