In the midst of a three-game road trip, the Los Angeles Kings are getting ready to head up north of the border to Canada to face the Winnipeg Jets and head coach Scott Arniel for the first time this fall in the regular season. LA then flies to the Twin Cities on Monday afternoon to face the Minnesota Wild and star forward Kirill Kaprizov on Oct. 13.
The Kings owned the regular season series against the Jets this past regular season in the West, sweeping the season series, including two convincing three-goal wins at home at Crypto Arena last year.
