The Los Angeles Kings head into a unique offseason where their two biggest acquisitions at the trade deadline are now unrestricted free agents. What particularly puts them in a delicate situation is that both of those players filled their two biggest needs on the roster, and now those needs are ever noticeable once again.
Vladislav Gavrikov and Joonas Korpisalo would both be welcomed back with open arms, I believe. But, the issue for the LA Kings right now is their lack of cap space. If the cap does go up to $83,500,000 like it is projected to, then that provides a little more breathing room.
