The second overall pick in the 2019 OHL Draft, Brenna Othmann would be a really unique selection for the LA Kings in the 2021 NHL Draft. It feels like whenever he’s within 5 feet of the net, the puck seems to find his stick. He’s a physical winger who can score goals in bunches, something the Kings sorely need.
Like a lot of OHL players, Othmann was left to find another place to play this season. He was loaned to the Swiss League, and the 18-year-old tallied 16 points in 34 games against grown men.
