After signing a two-year contract with the Los Angeles Kings this past offseason in 2024, defenseman Jacob Moverare finished the 2024-25 regular season as a consistent member of head coach Jim Hiller's blue-line group on defense.
Moverare started this past season in the 2024-25 campaign, playing games with the Kings' AHL affiliate, the Ontario Reign. After playing just under a dozen games with the Reign this past season, Moverare was called up to play with the Kings in the NHL for the rest of the campaign.
He played over half of the 82 regular season games for the Kings this past season, serving mostly in the role of the seventh defensemen for Hiller and LA in 2024-25.
