The Los Angeles Kings (1-2-0) returned to the ice to practice in Minnesota on Sunday, over the weekend before the road trip finale from this three-game road trip on Oct. 13 against the Minnesota Wild (1-1-0). Head coach Jim Hiller and the Kings had some necessary adjustments the team needed to make following the close 3-2 loss on the road this past Saturday against the Winnipeg Jets.
I'd argue that the Kings played their best game of the regular season for a complete 60 minutes against Winnipeg this past weekend on Saturday. The Kings hung around and had a chance to win the game in clutch time late in the third period.
