Rickard Rakell scored with 19 seconds remaining in overtime, and the Anaheim Ducks defeated the Los Angeles Kings 2-1 on Friday night at Honda Center.
Nick Ritchie also scored and John Gibson saved 28 shots for the Ducks, who are 6-1-1 in their last eight games. Ondrej Kase had two assists.
Drew Doughty had a goal and Jonathan Quick made 31 saves for the Kings, who went 2-0-3 in the season series against their Freeway Faceoff rivals.
Rakell's 32nd goal came on a shot from the right circle over Quick's shoulder. Brandon Montour and Kase had the assists after a wide-open overtime where both teams had numerous chances to end the game.
