Bob Miller to return to the booth during 50th Anniversary Season

Miller, who missed the Kings’ final three months last season after undergoing quadruple by-pass heart surgery, is scheduled to call 58 games (including all home games) this season plus the first-round of the playoffs as he takes a reduced on-air role with the club for the first time. He is scheduled to return to the booth on October 7 when the Kings play in the first Frozen Fury exhibition game in Las Vegas, the first of two preseason games from the new T-Mobile Arena to air on FOX Sports West.

Said Miller: “After 43 seasons of doing a full schedule of home and road games, and considering I will be 78 years old on Opening Night this season, I have decided the time has come to cut back on the rigors of travel.
