LOS ANGELES – The potential quarterfinal schedule for the 2019 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup has been set by U.S. Soccer. The draw determined the bracket in place through to the tournament’s final.
The Galaxy will play in the U.S. Open Cup round of 16 on Wednesday at Providence Park in Portland against the Portland Timbers at 8 p.m PT. Should the Galaxy advance, they will face the winner of the San Jose Earthquakes/LAFC match on July 9 on the road.
A Galaxy vs. LAFC match would take place at Banc of California Stadium on July 9 at 7:30 pm PT, while a Galaxy match against the Earthquakes would be held at Avaya Stadium on July 9 at 7:30 pm PT.
