CARSON, Calif. – Baggio Husidic is on the mend.
Nearly three months after the 30-year-old midfielder fractured his left fibula, Husidic jogged during training on Tuesday. Husidic appeared spry during his workout, also serving as an assistant referee for the club’s intra-squad scrimmage after completing his workout.
“We’re hoping that he’ll be back soon,” head coach Sigi Schmid said.
The Galaxy boss told reporters last week that Husidic will be back on the training ground in three to six weeks.
