Victory in the California Clasico would make it three wins in a row for the LA Galaxy when they visit Avaya Stadium in the third of their four-game road trip.
Believe it or not but the Galaxy are in something of a hot streak after earning consecutive victories away to New York Red Bulls and Minnesota United. The Galaxy came under heavy pressure after a torrid start to their season, but now, they stand on the brink of coming within two points of their rivals, the San Jose Earthquakes, with a win.
After Bruce Arena’s departure, even winning the last two matches has not convinced some that Curt Onalfo is the right man, but that may change with a victory in the California Clasico.
