CARSON, Calif. – Romain Alessandrini was placed on the shortlist for Major League Soccer’s Newcomer of the Year award.
The LA Galaxy central midfielder has shined in his first-year in Los Angeles with 11 goals and 10 assists in 28 appearances for the club. Alessandrini is only one of three players who have double-digit goals and double-digit assists in the league this year.
