Finally, the LA Galaxy organization have their veteran center back.
Kevin Baxter at the LA Times is reporting the club have completed a transfer for Costa Rican defender Giancarlo Gonzalez from Serie A side Bologna. An official announcement is expected tomorrow.
An experienced center back with 71 caps for his native country, Gonzalez worked with Guillermo Barros Schelotto during his short spell at Palermo. The 31-year old also spent half a season with the Columbus Crew in 2014 before a breakout performance at the World Cup led to a transfer abroad.
