The defending MLS Cup champions are now in the Third-Place Match after losing in the semifinals to the Seattle Sounders.
For the second time this month, the Los Angeles Galaxy could not score on the Seattle Sounders. Instead of losing 4-0 like they did at the beginning of the month, the reigning MLS Cup winners were defeated 2-0. Apparently, revenge was not on the menu for the Galaxy on Wednesday night.
With Matheus Nascimento still out of action, LA Galaxy head coach Greg Vanney turned to Miguel Berry for the rare start.
