Saturday's matchup between the Los Angeles Galaxy and the Colorado Rapids will be the first game for both teams since Thursday's transfer window closed. The last time these two teams faced each other was two months ago when the Rapids got the better of the LA Galaxy, 2-0.
It was a small measure of revenge from Colorado as it was the LA Galaxy who ousted the Rapids from the opening round of the 2024 MLS Western Conference Playoffs. In the best-of-three series, the eventual MLS Cup Finals winners outscored the Colorado Rapids 9-1.
Both teams have some noticeable differences going into this weekend.
