It’s fun to watch Ola Kamara’s form translate to the international stage. The LA Galaxy striker nabbed a brace Monday night in Nicosia as Norway defeated Cyprus in UEFA Nations League group play to top Group 3 over Bulgaria on goal difference.
You could be forgiven for believing Kamara might show some off season rust, but the attacker with 14 goals last season was as sharp as ever. Ola got his first shortly before the half, ghosting into the area to re-direct a headed ball across the box with the simplest of finishes.
The Norwegian completed his brace in the 48th minute, once again sneaking into the box completely unmarked on a corner kick and chopping a close range shot past the keeper.
