Los Dos fell behind early in the first half after Shane Malcolm headed the ball in from close range in the 10th minute of play. Although LA Galaxy II had a few scoring chances in the first half, they were unable to find the equalizer. The home team went into half time with a goal deficit.
The Switchbacks continued to press offensively and recorded their second goal three minutes into the second half.
