For the last time in MLS regular season play, Wayne Rooney and former Manchester United teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic square off Sunday night when D.C. United meet the LA Galaxy at Audi Field.
Just days after the announcement Rooney is heading to Derby County to be a player-coach at season's end, D.C. United (9-7-9) hope to rebound from a 5-1 home defeat to the Philadelphia Union with points in a congested Eastern Conference at a premium. The Black-and-Red, one of the busiest teams in the Secondary Transfer Window, have won just once in their last seven matches.

The LA Galaxy (12-10-1) are also looking to rebound from a lopsided Week 22 defeat, falling 3-0 at Atlanta United last Saturday.
