Jonathan and Giovani dos Santos’ Mexico will have a chance to clinch the highest total in CONCACAF World Cup qualifying history on Tuesday when they face Honduras in San Pedro Sula.

Mexico went to 22 points in the Hexagonal standings last week when they picked up a come-from-behind 3-1 win over Trinidad and Tobago. Giovani started the match and went 60 minutes, while Jonathan was an unused substitute.

El Tri takes on a desperate Honduras squad that needs a victory at home and some help to either secure an automatic World Cup berth or finish in the fourth spot which will seal a place in the intercontinental playoff against either Syria or Australia.
