CARSON, Calif. – Landon Donovan is making another comeback.
The LA Galaxy and U.S. National Team legend announced on Friday that he is coming out of retirement to play for Liga MX side Club León.
"Landon is a competitor, he truly is excited about the opportunity with León, and he plans to go there to compete and help the club win championships,” Donovan’s agent, Richard Motzkin, told MLSsoccer.com.
The news broke on Friday night with Leon posting a photo of the Galaxy and MLS legend in their green kit, ending a week of speculation of the 35-year-old's potential return.
