LOS ANGELES – The LA Galaxy U-17’s qualified for the GA Cup Champions Division with a third consecutive win on Monday.
The Galaxy defeated Portland Timbers 3-2 with tallies from Adam Saldana, Cameron Dunbar, and Andre Ochoa to advance to the Champions Division which will take place during Easter weekend. The division will feature both MLS and Liga MX competition.
The Galaxy U-15’s did not qualify for their own Champions Division after falling 1-0 to the Colorado Rapids on Monday. The U-15’s went 2-1-0 during the three matches over President’s Day Weekend.
