CARSON, Calif. (Tuesday, April 19, 2016) – The LA Galaxy have partnered with TreePeople, a non-profit organization working to grow a green and climate-resilient Los Angeles, to host Inglewood Volunteer Day at Edward Vincent Park in Inglewood, CA, this Friday, April 22, from 10:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. PT as part of the club’s year-long community initiative, LA Galaxy Foundation Fridays.
LA Galaxy legend Landon Donovan, the entire LA Galaxy Academy and LA Galaxy staff members will be on hand as the Galaxy help beautify the park, with initiatives including deep-watering trees, building watering basins to ensure the water feeds the trees’ roots, pulling weeds and spreading mulch.
