The LA Galaxy announced their third signing from the Galaxy Academy this week, with the news Friday that they have officially signed defender Marcus Ferkranus to an MLS contract.
The 17-year-old signs his first pro deal after coming through the academy, which he’s been at since 2017, and after making his debut in the USL Championship for LA Galaxy II in 2020.
“Marcus is a talented prospect who we have seen progress as a player during his time with our Academy and with LA Galaxy II,” said LA Galaxy General Manager Dennis te Kloese in a team statement.
