Reinforcements are on the way.
This morning the Galaxy have announced the signing of free agent Jack McInerney.
“Jack is a young and experienced player in MLS who has shown that he can score goals in this league,” echoed Galaxy GM Pete Vagenas. “He will give our team valuable depth at the forward position throughout the season. We look forward to Jack joining the team this week ahead of Sunday’s game.”
McInerney was drafted in 2010 by the Philadelphia Union with the seventh overall selection in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft, and remained with the club until 2014, where he scored 25 goals for the club, including a career-high 12 goals in 2013.
